Food Park at Leusipukri
Considering the demand
of developed industrial land for industries in manufacturing, food
processing and service sector, an area approx of 230 acres has been
identified at Leusipukri near Siliguri for development of an
industrial Growth Centre. Total allottable area will be 178 acre and
cost of development per acre of allotable area will be Rs. 24.64 lac.
Creation of
Trans-shipment, warehousing and Parking facilities near Sevoke
Railway Station
The Sevoke Railway
station is very ideally located along the confluence of East West
corridor and the NH-31A connecting Nathu-La with Siliguri. It is
proposed that the goods meant for export on import to and from China
or Bangladesh can use this railway station for onward transportation
through railways. Accordingly, an area of approx 50 acres has been
identified near Sevoke Railway Station for proving the facilities
of Dry Port with customs and warehousing facilities integrated
therein. |
